Importing Threads

You can now import Threads from other save files! Look for “Import Threads” in the Fashion Authority > Settings category.

Note: Only icons and names of Threads are available in this view. Specific Sim Restrictions will most likely not transfer unless the Sim IDs from a previous save match.

Sharing Threads with Other Saves

When saving your game with the “Save As” button, a Save ID is maintained between the save files. As a result, Fashion Authority would sync Thread changes between saves which may not make sense with how you’ve changed the world.

Two new cheats have been added to unlink your Threads from your save ID! Entering the fashion.unlink cheat will generate a new unique ID and link the active save with it. Entering the fashion.link cheat will reset it back to the default save ID associated with your game. These changes are not permanent until you save your game.

It is recommended that you always unlink if you are using Specific Sim Restrictions, as the Sim IDs will not match in other saves and wipe out the restriction each time you switch between them.

Additionally you can pass an ID to fashion.link to link with other saves, or duplicate. For example if you had a medieval theme you wanted to reuse but not link, calling fashion.link 12345 and subsequently calling fashion.unlink would copy the threads into a new unique .uniform file.
