Customizable Guest Activities
You can now Manage Guest Activities that sims will be encouraged to do while checked in, similar to Small Businesses and most likely the upcoming Adventure Awaits Getaways.
- Manage from the Concierge Bell and other business objects
- Choose up to 6 activities for each Hotel
- This feature is Base Game Compatible, however the available activities will depend on the Packs you have installed.
- Pulls from the same activities available to Clubs and Small Businesses including any CC "ClubInteractionGroup" tuning, for example, Birdwatching from Bird Life. Some have been disabled that have similar functionality in Suite Life like Sleeping, Cooking, and Doing Laundry.
Additional Changes
- New Hotel Owner interactions have been added that will give guests a positive and/or negative hit to their satisfaction.
- π Recommend a Day Trip (This will send them on the trip!)
- π Talk about Hotel Perks
- π Shoo to Room (This previously was only available when a Guest was sleeping outside at night or swimming when the pool was closed, staff will still autonomously shoo misbehaving sims).
- Employees will be paid their wages as expected when payroll processes in the morning (remember you must be on the lot for this to happen).
- Payroll and Prestige will process when you return to the lot if you were not there at exactly 6am.
- Guest satisfaction scores will be boosted/lowered by additional factors:
- Positive/negative interactions with staff
- Used low/high quality seating object
- Used low/high quality plumbing object
- Likes the decor (you won't be penalized for disliking decor)
- Nearby space heaters/air-cons
- Experiencing food poisoning
- City Living rat holes
- Fixed exceptions when removing the Hotel Venue in Live mode. If the hotel was owned, lot ownership will be cleared and the business removed. Guests and staff will be sent home.
- Fixed weird toddler handoff exception when a Porter can't find a valid slot to put down platter.
- Improved platter put down logic for Table Service to ignore hit boxes for small tables that have decor in the center as the platter will be there temporarily (if you ignore hit boxes it will cause them to yeet out of existence when you reload the game).
- Fixed hotel interactions appearing on Businesses & Hobbies Ticket Kiosk outside of the Hotel venue.

Core Library 1.34
Core Library will now disable itself if the Pack Selection feature has been used to prevent any game-breaking duplicate injections. You will also be alerted to restart your game.

Suite Life 1.7.1
Escape from the hustle and bustle of the city and camp out in a Tent! Your next 5-star getaway might be under the stars.
ποΈ Camping Tents can be set as a Rentable Object and will claim a 5 meter radius around the tent as the Campsite area. Objects within the radius will be considered part of the "Suite" and is calculated as part of its total value.
DLC is required to use this feature. Tents are included in Outdoor Retreat (Easy Camper Tent, Cabin-in-a-Bag), Snowy Escape (Canvas Cabin), or Journey to Batuu (Resistance Tent). The Fantastical Play Tent from Dream Home Decorator can be used as an additional bed for children and toddlers within the campsite of a normal Tent.
Place the new Trailhead Check-In Sign as an alternative to the Concierge Bell. Guests can check in without a receptionist, and all other guest/management interactions are available on the sign.
- You can mix and match and have Tents + Suites on the lot. You could claim a cabin for the parents, but also "Claim an Additional Campsite" to give the kids a tent.
- Shift+Click the ground and Toggle Debug Visualizations to show a circle around the designated radius while building.
- You can increase individual campsite sizes to Medium (6.5 meters) or Large (8 meters). Both upgrades will increase the Daily Rate of the site.
- If campsite areas overlap, sims will be able to use those shared objects when checked into either site.
- Owners cannot claim Tents at this time.
- Tents hold 1-4 people depending on the size. Place cots, sleeping bags, or beds/cribs/etc in the campsite and additional sims will be able to check-in! Just note you should give them a place on the lot to stay sheltered in bad weather if they do not have space in a tent.
- All Room Services are available to a Tent. Staff will Holler for Entry at the tent flap and perform their tasks like delivering platters to picnic tables, cleaning up the area, or fixing broken objects.
- Housekeeping will not perform daily rounds to Tents as their general cleanup duties will take care of it.
- If you do not have a toilet or shower on the lot, Sims will attempt to search the open street for public bathrooms but will return back to the lot.
- Lazy sims will be 90% less likely to reserve a tent, including Sims with the Sedentary lifestyle. High Maintenance sims will be 50% less likely, including Sims with the Indoorsy lifestyle. Adventurous, Rancher and Loves Outdoors Sims will be 150% more likely to reserve a tent, including Sims with various outdoorsy aspirations and lifestyles too.
Gallery Lot Type Change
Hotels uploaded to the Gallery will now maintain the Hotel Lot Type and the lot type will appear in filters! Thanks amethystlilac for blowing my mind that this was possible.
I've updated the lot type name to include (Suite Life) to differentiate from any other custom lot types, or if EA ever releases their own.
Travel From Destination to Destination
You can now Check In to other Hotels within residential worlds without ending your original vacation and traveling home first.
Traveling to and from an "incompatible region" will automatically end your vacation when you travel due to EA systems anyway. Incompatible regions would be like traveling from destination worlds like Granite Falls to a residential world, or vice versa. (Chipped Sim's Region Tweaks mod could also cause this to happen based on settings)
Additional Changes & Fixes
- Added a new Hotel Setting to limit guests based their connection to the realm of the living. Choose Ghosts Only, Alive Only, or No Preference. The default value has been set to Alive Only.
- The Late Night shift is now available on the Concierge Bell without the 24 Hour Perk to match the original gameplay allowing 24 hour concierge.
- Massage Chairs and Tables now have the ability to control staffing and operating hours individually!
- Spa Staff can be requested to other objects without turning them on, so this is really a way to control the number of staff.
- Because many Spa builds on the gallery have many spa objects, the Hire Staff to Tend Object Toggle will be off by default. Once you've added the Spa Services perk, enable staffing on a massage chair or table.
- If no objects are enabled for staffing and a guest has requested room spa service, a spa staff member will be summoned to the lot for the service.
- Fixed swimming exceptions, especially bad on oceanfront lots
- Porter work schedules will now match the Operating Hours settings for Chefs and will stay on the lot until all food is prepared and delivered.
- If all Porters have left for some reason and a chef has completed an order, a porter will be summoned to fulfill the deliveries even if its outside operating hours to prioritize smoother gameplay.
- Staff will no longer derail and Shoo misbehaving sims to their room when they have a task to do.
- Fixed Claim an Additional Room not properly assigning sims and parent room after Hotel Ownership public release.
- Fixed Go Inside interaction no longer appearing/working on doors after Hotel Ownership public release. Guests would also ditch their suitcases immediate after check in instead of dropping them off as before. Still working through the group leader never dropping it off.
Core Library 1.33.1
Improved logic for ParameterizedSuperInteraction autonomy requests. This should greatly improve Staff autonomy in Suite Life.

Free-Range 1.8.1
- Officially Officially fixed the issue with the Brown cow teleporting to the Household Inventory.
- You can also move them around in build mode now.

Introducing the Hotel Prestige & Reputation system!
Build your Hotelβs legacy with the new Prestige & Reputation system! Impress your Target Clientele with thoughtfully designed Suites to earn Prestige, and wow your guests to build a stellar Reputation over time. Master both to unlock higher Star Ratings and rise from a humble stay to a world-class destination.
Currently Hotels must be owned to activate this system. Opt out at any time within your Hotel Settings.
Target Clientele
Choose your Target Clientele: Econo, Standard, Luxe, and Exclusive. Each tier has demographics like Environment Tolerance, Expected Amenities, Expected Room Value, and Target Net Worth that influence Guest Satisfaction and the type of Sims who check-in.
- All Hotels will start at Standard but you can change this at any time in your Hotel Settings based on your desired type of build.
- Employee wages also scale based on the tier. As low as $8 per hour at an Econo Hotel, and $15 for Exclusive.
- Econo Hotels will be more desirable for Low Net Worth sims, Slobs, and Low Fame Reputation sims.
- Lux/Exclusive will be more desirable for High Net Worth sims, Proper, Snobs, and High Fame Reputation sims.
Prestige
Prestige is calculated based on the average Guest Satisfaction of every Suite, and how well your entire hotel fits within the Target Clientele's expectations.
- Improve this score by ensuring each Suite has appropriate decor, fits closer to the center of the room value range, and offers the expected number of amenities like appliances and entertainment.
- Offer Housekeeping to make sure top tier Hotels stay clean.
- Manipulate your Daily Rates with the Room Value Multiplier in Hotel Settings to increase or decrease the perceived value of the Suite. Push too far though and your guests may see through your tactics.
Reputation
Your Reputation represents how well you've maintained your Prestige over time. Your goal is to have your Reputation in sync with your Prestige. This means you are delivering on your promises to your Target Clientele. Your Reputation will start at the bottom but as long as you deliver on your promises, you'll be on everyone's destination list.
- It will take a minimum of 2 weeks from Grand Opening to reach a 5 Star rating with a maximum of half a star increase per day.
- Your Hotel Reputation can be affected by the average Fame Reputation of your household. If you're infamous, you may have a hard to getting your Hotel Reputation up at first, but if you're globally known you will have a head start.
Star Rating
Your Star Rating is a blend of Reputation and Prestige. The closer your Reputation and Prestige are in sync, the more Stars you'll receive. Reach 5 Stars by maxing out Reputation and Prestige.
- You will start at Half a Star but your first week of the Grand Opening will allow you to pack the house and build your Reputation. After the first week, Guest expectations will return to normal and they may start dwindling. You will always be able to fill at least one room.
- Internally, Star Rating will manipulate the minimum vacancy of your hotel but will work within the number you have set in Hotel Settings. So be sure to check this setting and set to Zero if you aren't filling the Hotel to max capacity as you should with a 5 Star rating or a Celebrity Endorsement.
Guest Satisfaction
Guest Satisfaction has multiple factors including their environment score and how they perceive they are receiving the best value. Econo Guests will be more tolerant to low quality/value decor and bad environments, while Luxe or Exclusive Guests have a near zero tolerance to bad decor and dirty dishes and expect more amenities per room.
- Satisfaction Scores are calculated hourly for every Sim then rolled up into a daily average for each Suite, giving you breathing room to improve the guest experience throughout the day.
When guests check out you'll receive Reviews based on their overall experience to give insight into how you can improve that specific Suite.

Each morning your Prestige, Reputation and Star Rating will update with payroll and you may receive some extra bonuses! At the same time, you'll also receive a Public Relations Report in a notification with info about how your Hotel is currently performing in relation to your rating and scores.
Bonuses
Upgrade Objects around the property to earn daily bonuses from the government! Each upgrade will increase your bonus with no cap.

Additional Changes
- Kicking Out Guests will now penalize your Hotel Reputation.
- Welcoming Guests and giving out Free Nights can help boost your Reputation.
- Guest spawn chance has been increased to 25% every 30-45 minutes.
- Chances will increase to 38% on Fridays and Saturdays or when an active Holiday has the Go on Vacation tradition.
- On the inverse, chances will cut in half to 12% during the Late Night shift.
- Purchase Advertising to help increase chances and max capacity.
- When the Prestige system is turned off or a hotel is unowned, max capacity/minimum vacancy will not be modified.
- There are 4 levels of Advertising that offer varying improvements to your chances of new check-ins, and widening the amount of suites booked at one time (with Prestige system). Purchase from Hotel Management on a Bell or Sign.
- Web Campaign: Chances of a new reservation will be boosted by 115%
- Social Bunny Campaign: Chances of a new reservation with are boosted by 135% and allows an additional room to be filled.
- TV Commercial: Chances of a new reservation are boosted by 175% and allows even more rooms to be filled at once.
- Celebrity Endorsement: Chances of a new reservation are boosted by 200% and the whole hotel can be filled at one time.
Additional Fixes
- Fixed NPCs not being charged for their full stay during check-in.
- Fixed rooms unable to be claimed after a Guest checks out when the Housekeeping Perk is not active.
- Fixed employee wages compounding each day unless the business was closed and opened.
- Fixed Hotel Owner Staffing Notification not appearing when it should.
- Fixed Hotel Owners unable to use the pool.
- Removed static commodity from guests pushing them to sunbathe, relax in pool floats, and other interactions too often.
- Fixed Porters getting stuck in their delivery situation and becoming unresponsive when their room service request has stalled out.
- Improved Porter autonomy while holding Platters.
- You'll now receive a notification when a Room Service request had to be canceled due to expiring or staff unable to complete their tasks.
- Fixed issue changing a door type from Guest Suite to Owner Suite or vice versa and the room type not being updated internally.
- Fixed Evening Shift ending an hour late.
- Improved Quiet Hours lighting modifications.
- Fixed bed/food object preferences being lost for Hotel Owners when reloading the hotel.
- Employees tied to specific Hotel Perks will now be fired when the perk is removed to free up Sims, but they will be eligible for rehire.
- Fixed Hotel Owners unable to Order Food from Table Service /Tooltip always showing an order was in progress.
- Touching interactions have been marked as inappropriate for Staff. This should prevent excessive autonomous woohoo that keeps them from doing their job.
Known Issues
- Employees are not actually paid their wages. This will require a deeper change to hours tracking.

Free-Range 1.8
I have finally found the source of animals being placed in the Household Inventory and it's technically not a bug, but a feature so don't count on EA changing this, tho they should have a way to get animals out of the household inventory.
The Problem:
This can actually be triggered by two different reasons:
A Lost and Found service is triggered when you put an animal in your Sim's inventory then take them out on a lot you don't own. If you travel, the animal will attempt to return to the Sim's inventory, but will fallback to the Household inventory.
This issue also occurs with EA animals and is most likely the main culprit for those Cows and Llamas getting stuck. Free-Range animals are purchased and placed directly on the ground so they bypass this system triggering on the initial purchase too.
When an animal is outside the lot bounds even by a single atom they are considered part of the "Open Street". These objects are saved and spawn on any lot within the same street, so it will also attempt to return objects to the owner inventory and fallback to the Household Inventory to prevent them from being stuck on other lots if they wander out of the Open Street.
This issue doesn't happen much with EA Cows and Llamas as they are locked to the animal sheds, but is most likely the issue for Free-Range animals.
Solution:
The Lost and Found service has been removed from Free-Range Cows and Llamas. You should be able to purchase animals for Hotels for example, and be able to leave them there. Just note that if they do end up wandering outside the lot bounds they will spawn when you travel to other lots within the street and possibly get stuck on the wrong lot if they wander onto it.
For EA Animals, I don't apply any overrides to them however the free_range.inv_fix cheat will now free them from the Household Inventory.
